Love You: New Years Resolutions or simply playing with possibilities

After enjoying the holiday season, many individuals naturally shift their focus to the upcoming year, pondering the potential opportunities and experiences it might bring. Some set resolutions centered around their health and wellness, but all too often, these intentions fade away by the end of January. This is part of the human experience; it’s similar to trying on an outfit to see if it suits – allowing ourselves to envision possibilities without pressure.

Perhaps we should practice a little more self-compassion instead of harshly judging our numerous unfulfilled resolutions. Over time, a few of those aspirations might turn out to be genuinely meaningful and lasting.

Embrace yourself and the journey of dreaming and setting goals. It’s important to be gentle with yourself if those dreams don’t materialise right away; it could simply be a matter of “not yet” or that the timing isn’t right for you. Sometimes, an idea may smolder quietly, waiting for the right moment or inspiration to ignite it into a vibrant flame.
